- The safety and wellbeing of our members, visitors and guests is important to us. This page provides key information for anyone attending the East Grinstead Masonic Centre.
- Lone working: Anyone using the Centre alone is advised to carry to a mobile telephone and consider 'buddy' working where possible.
- Any members requiring disability assistance should make it known to their unit, and adopt a buddy system to gain assistance when needed.
- There is a first aid kit in the kitchen prep area; and also one (in a black metal box) in the robing room.
- The defibrillator is in the alley at the front of the building. Click the link below for details.
- Members and visitors may bring personal electrical devices (e.g., laptops, phone chargers) for reasonable use.
- All devices must be in good condition and comply with current electrical safety standards.
- Any high-power or non-standard equipment (e.g., heaters, cooking appliances, amplifiers) must receive prior approval from the Centre Management.
- Extension leads and adapters must be Centre-approved or PAT-tested.
- The Centre reserves the right to prohibit the use of any device deemed unsafe or disruptive.
